Room Service

Dine in your room

Don't feel like leaving your cabin? Want a quiet night in? Well, then order room service! But first, here are somethings you should know.

Is Room Service Free?

Yes, room service is free, however, if you order after 11pm, there is a $5.99 charge (per total order, not per item) unless you're in suite, then there is no charge.

What kind of food is on the room service menu?

You'll see a variety of food on the room service menu from basic salads to sandwiches, chicken skewers, burgers, and pasta. There are appetizers too such as a cheese plate, shrimp cocktail, etc. The late menu is slightly limited but has a good selection including pizza. You can also get iced tea, water, and juice delivered for free too.

How long does room service take?

It all depends on how busy the staff is. Typically it arrives in less than 30 minutes. We've ordered at 2am before and have had food in less than 20/30 minutes! However, in some instances it does take longer, closer to 45 minutes or more. If it is more than 30 minutes, typically the staff will let you know.

How do I order?

You can order either by calling or by using the TV. When you order via the TV typically room service will call you to confirm your order and give you a time of delivery.

Tips & Tricks for Room Service

- ORDER FROM THE MDR MENU: If you'd like to order from the Main Dining Room Menu for dinner then ask your room steward (or butler if in a suite) for the menu. You can place the order through them. If you're in a standard room the meal will be delivered all at once. If you're in a suite your butler will deliver it course by course.

- DON'T SIT ON THE BALCONY WHILE YOU WAIT! Well, you can but we've done this and the sounds of the ocean make it very difficult to hear the knock on the door unless you're in a suite where you have a doorbell. We've done this and room service had to call to say "hey, its at your door!" So if you choose to do this make sure you sit right by the balcony door and listen!

-APPETIZERS WHILE YOU GET READY? I love getting ready for dinner on the ship, particularly on formal (chic) nights. Why not order yourself a little appetizer while you get ready. Perhaps a shrimp cocktail or a cheese plate?
